Aspiring to Precision
Aspiring to Precision - exhibition at Gustavianum, Uppsala.
Opened in May 2016.
The precision of 19th century scientific instruments developed during the height of the industrial revolution. The instruments on display were at the core of research in the natural sciences, chemistry, astronomy, spectroscopy, magnetism and electricity.
The northern hall in the unique 17th century building Gustavianum has carefully been integrated in the design. The exhibition space is designed to host the beautiful technical instruments made out of brass, wood and steel.
The exhibition closed in January 2019.
